New Hope Football has advanced to the second round of the MHSAA playoffs. For the first time since 1991, New Hope Trojan Field will host an MHSAA playoff game when the Vicksburg Gators travel to New Hope on Friday November 14th.
The Vicksburg Gators are the second place team in their district, with Pearl placing 1st and Yazoo City and Yazoo County ranking 3rd and 4th. Pearl was the only district team to defeat Vicksburg (40-13) and their only other loss was the season opener to South Panola (27-6).
