The April meeting is set for the 21st in conjunction with Coach Bradley’s mandatory parent meeting. The meeting will be held at the old football field (now soccer) on the east side of campus at 6:30pm.
Fundraiser
The Touchdown Club is holding a spring fundraiser by sponsoring a booth at the Market Street Festival in Columbus on May 3rd. We will be utilizing MudBugs crawfish to sell crawfish, potato and corn on the cob plates. We will need lots of volunteers to assist as we hope to sell about 1,000 plates. We intend to have a lot of fun with this so come on out to Market Street and pitch in to help. Email the club president Paul Guerry to let him know when and how you can help at guerryp (at) gmail.com.

At the November 29th Touchdown Club meeting, the Football banquet was set for Saturday January 5th. There will be no charge for players or coaches, but for the remainder of those attending the cost will be 8 dollars.
Also, at the Nov. 29th meeting, the Club voted to allow the Club video camera to be used to film other events at New Hope School with a fee charged on the sale of any DVD’s or tapes sold.
Thanks to all those who worked to support the New Hope Trojans football team this year. We had a great year in support of our “never give up’ Trojans.
Volunteers worked to support the team in many ways. The most obvious way was at the Touchdown Club concession stand. But volunteers also sold mugs and shirts and ad signs, mowed grass, painted lines, numbers and letters on football fields, procured and/or prepared post-game meals, shot fireworks at games, took photos, filmed games, hauled ice to practices, tended hurt players, called games over cell phones for webcasts, ran the website, worked on the stadium setup and cleanup, and many, many more un-named volunteer tasks.
